About me
Lynn Kalnins is the Principal of Chana Education Center, a therapeutic alternative school serving students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs. She works closely with regional districts through the Ogle County Educational Cooperative to support specialized programming, staff development, and systems that improve outcomes for students with intensive needs. Lynn’s work focuses on practical strategies that help educators address behavior, build student accountability, and create environments where students with complex challenges can succeed. She is passionate about supporting educators in navigating the realities of working with high-need students while maintaining strong expectations and positive school cultures.
